Dietetics

Dietitians in the UK hold the only legally-recognised graduate qualification in nutrition and dietetics.

Dietitians are regulated health professionals that assess, treat and diagnose nutritional-related problems. They recruit their wide-ranging nutritional knowledge to translate the science of nutrition in to practical advice for the individual.

'Dietitian' is a protected title, requiring a degree, MSc or post-graduate diploma for its use.

Advice can be given for a variety of problems including:

  • Weight management
  • Diabetes
  • Arthritis
  • Coeliac disease
  • Gastrointestinal disorders
  • Polycystic ovarian syndrome

Our dietitian also offers general nutritional advice and guidance.
