Dietitians in the UK hold the only legally-recognised graduate qualification in nutrition and dietetics.
Dietitians are regulated health professionals that assess, treat and diagnose nutritional-related problems. They recruit their wide-ranging nutritional knowledge to translate the science of nutrition in to practical advice for the individual.
'Dietitian' is a protected title, requiring a degree, MSc or post-graduate diploma for its use.
