Heart Disease

While heart and blood vessel disease is the number one killer in England, there is a lot you can do to reduce your risk. This includes eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and not smoking.

There are many things you can change in your diet to reduce your levels of cholesterol and blood pressure and lower your risk of heart disease.

I can help you to understand:

  • the effects of different types of dietary fats on the health of your heart (they are not all bad!)
  • the foods you should be eating regularly to reduce your risk of heart disease
  • how different foods affect blood fats, blood pressure and the health of your blood vessels
  • the foods which should be limited if you want a healthy heart

Whether you have high cholesterol or triglycerides, high blood pressure, a family history of these conditions or just want to prevent heart problems in the future, I can help you to set realistic and achievable goals to improve the health of your heart.
